Youth Celebration: Come up to the Mountain of the Lord

This was the youth celebration, "Come Up To The Mountain of the Lord," held at the Conference Center. The celebration was for the Draper Temple. It was an amazing night there were over 7000 youth that participated. It was filled with many different types of dances and songs. Stakes were combined together to form their own theme. Melanie and Kailey were part of the Baseball theme, and danced together on stage. The prophet attended this celebration as well as other General Authorities. The celebration was held on May 29, 2009 which just so happened to be President Henry B. Eyring's Birthday! So President Monson asked the chorister to lead the audience in singing Happy Birthday to him. The youth were filmed and this performance will be made into a DVD. It was an amazing thing to experience.
